Freelance CRO audit.
Convert more. Without more traffic.
Paid traffic is expensive. If your website does not convert, every euro in Google Ads or Meta Ads multiplies into losses. A CRO audit identifies exactly where and why you are losing conversions — and how to fix it.

What the CRO audit includes
Full analysis of your conversion funnel with prioritised hypotheses and an actionable plan.
Heuristic analysis
Expert review of your website
Evaluation of each key page against persuasion, usability and conversion principles. I identify friction points that traffic sees but data has not yet revealed.
Analytics
Quantitative analysis
Study of your GA4, conversion funnels, drop-off rate by page and user segments. The data shows where traffic dies.
UX Research
Qualitative analysis
Heatmaps, session recordings and form analysis. I understand the real behaviour of your users.
Hypotheses
Improvement prioritisation
I deliver a prioritised list of actionable hypotheses ordered by potential impact and ease of implementation.
Quick wins
Immediate improvements
High-impact changes you can implement without A/B tests. Measurable results in weeks, not months.
Why CRO multiplies your paid media investment
Same traffic, more sales
Doubling conversion rate has the same effect as doubling ad budget — at zero cost.
Reduces CPA
If your landing converts at 2% and you improve it to 4%, your CPA halves. Without touching campaigns.
Data, not opinions
Every hypothesis is backed by real data from your account. No generic redesigns based on trends.
How I work
A structured methodology to ensure hypotheses are based on evidence, not assumptions.
01
Data analysis
Review of GA4, funnels, drop-off rates and segments. I identify which pages and funnel steps have the highest loss.
02
User research
Heatmaps, session recordings, form analysis and on-site surveys. I understand real behaviour.
03
Heuristic review
Expert evaluation of each key page against the 7 CRO principles: motivation, friction, anxiety, relevance, UX, CTA and value proposition.
04
Hypothesis prioritisation
Each hypothesis is scored by impact, confidence and implementation effort (ICE framework). The most profitable go first.
05
Quick wins
High-impact, low-effort changes that can be implemented without tests. Visible results in the first weeks.
06
Results report
Final document with findings, prioritised hypotheses, reference wireframes and a 3-month optimisation roadmap.
Sectors where CRO has the greatest impact
CRO works best where there is paid traffic and conversions to improve.
Ecommerce
Optimisation of product pages, cart and checkout. CRO in ecommerce directly impacts the ROAS of your paid media campaigns.
B2B & SaaS
Improvement of lead capture forms, service pages and onboarding flows. Reduce CPL and increase the quality of leads generated.
Paid media landing pages
Every percentage point of improvement on a paid landing multiplies the ROI of your campaigns. CRO is the natural complement to any PPC/SEM strategy.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a CRO audit take?
A complete audit takes between 5 and 10 working days depending on site size and the number of critical pages. I deliver a detailed report with all prioritised hypotheses, annotated screenshots and a clear action plan.
Do I need to run A/B tests?
Not necessarily. Many conversion improvements can be implemented directly without tests. A/B tests are useful when traffic is sufficient for statistical significance — generally above 1,000 monthly visits per variant.
Do you work with any platform?
Yes. I work with Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, custom landing pages and B2B forms regardless of platform. The heuristic and data analysis is technology-agnostic.
What is the difference between CRO and web design?
Web design starts from scratch or from an aesthetic vision. CRO starts from real user behaviour data to improve what already exists. CRO does not redesign based on trends — it optimises with evidence. A CRO audit tells you exactly what to change and why, without replacing the entire site.
What type of business benefits most from CRO?
CRO is especially valuable for ecommerce, B2B businesses with lead capture forms, and any company investing in paid media. If you pay for traffic and your conversion rate is low, CRO multiplies the return on that investment without increasing budget.
Does CRO work if I have low traffic?
With low traffic, A/B tests are not viable, but heuristic and qualitative analysis still delivers enormous value. I can identify obvious friction points, usability issues and quick wins that can be implemented directly. For statistically valid tests, a minimum of 500–1,000 monthly conversions is recommended.
